These works are closely inspired by an onstage performance of a marvellous piece in Washington DC in May 2023. On The Road To Arivaca is an original Chamber Work of Music-Theatre that takes place in the desert so often crossed by migrants risking everything to get to a better future. The chamber opera is a collaboration by award-winning composer Rosino Serrano from Mexico City and DC librettist Susan Galbraith and features a youth choir. Other pieces represent landscapes imagined or present.
